Job Description

Vail Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team in beautiful Vail, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to practice across multiple facilities in the Vail Health system, including Vail Health Hospital, Vail Valley Surgery Centers, and Dillon Surgery Center. Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to individual patients
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Manage airways, respiratory status, and vital signs during anesthesia
• Assist with postoperative care and documentation
• Participate in on-call rotations and shift coverage across various locations
• Stay current on anesthesia practices, techniques, and equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary between $240,000 and $250,000 annually
• $10,000 sign-on bonus

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CRNA
• Skilled in airway management and chronic pain treatment
• Current Colorado RN and CRNA licensure (or valid compact state RN license)
• CRNA certification, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time (80 hours biweekly)
• Work across multiple Vail Health facilities
• Variable shift coverage; overtime paid per policy
• Collaborative environment with physician anesthesiologists and surgical teams
