Job Description

Medely is recruiting an experienced and self-motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage at West Coast Surgery in Palm Desert, California. This is a long-term, part-time 1099 opportunity ideal for a CRNA seeking a flexible weekend role in a modern outpatient surgical setting. The position involves covering orthopedic and spine procedures for one surgeon every other Saturday or 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Key Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia services for outpatient orthopedic and spine cases in a private surgical center.
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, monitor patients intraoperatively, and ensure safe recovery post-procedure.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards throughout all procedures.

Compensation & Schedule

Annual Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 (estimated, based on part-time hours)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: 1–2 Saturdays per month (every other Saturday acceptable)
Case Load: 4–5 cases per working day
Free on-site parking provided

Job Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with active California license
Experience in outpatient or orthopedic anesthesia preferred
Positive attitude and ability to work independently
Commitment to patient safety and quality anesthesia care
