Medely is recruiting an experienced and self-motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage at West Coast Surgery in Palm Desert, California. This is a long-term, part-time 1099 opportunity ideal for a CRNA seeking a flexible weekend role in a modern outpatient surgical setting. The position involves covering orthopedic and spine procedures for one surgeon every other Saturday or 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia services for outpatient orthopedic and spine cases in a private surgical center.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, monitor patients intraoperatively, and ensure safe recovery post-procedure.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards throughout all procedures.

Compensation & Schedule

• Annual Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 (estimated, based on part-time hours)
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Schedule: 1–2 Saturdays per month (every other Saturday acceptable)
• Case Load: 4–5 cases per working day
• Free on-site parking provided

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with active California license
• Experience in outpatient or orthopedic anesthesia preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Commitment to patient safety and quality anesthesia care
