This program prepares nurses to practice at the highest level of professional nursing, focusing on the translation and implementation of evidence-based practice to improve health outcomes for diverse populations.

Program Requirements

  • Educational Background: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from a nationally accredited program.
  • Licensure:
    • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Experience:
    • Advanced practice nursing experience is preferred.
  • Academic Performance: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in prior graduate coursework.
  • Certifications:
    • Advanced practice certification (e.g., NP, CNS, CNM, CRNA) is preferred.
  • Prerequisite Coursework:
    • Graduate-level courses in advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and advanced physical assessment.
