Job Description
Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its nationally recognized academic medical center. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, strong compensation, and the opportunity to work in both clinical and academic roles.
CRNAs will practice under medical direction while also serving as faculty, supervising student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs). This role provides exposure to a diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings within a highly collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
- Deliver post-anesthesia care and recovery management
- Supervise and mentor SRNAs within the nurse anesthesia program
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $350,000
- Sign-on bonus up to $30,000

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- NBCRNA certification required
- Active Illinois RN or APN license or eligibility
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
