Job Description

Anesthesiology Associates of Sheboygan, a small and cohesive private practice group that has been serving the Sheboygan community since 1979, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage for our full-time CRNAs’ vacation weeks. We are committed to providing the safest and highest quality anesthesia care to our patients and are excited to add a dedicated and skilled CRNA to our team. This part-time position offers a great work-life balance with no call, weekends, or holidays required.

The CRNA will work in a medical supervision model, collaborating with experienced anesthesiologists. You will have the opportunity to perform your own spinal/epidural procedures, place arterial and central lines, and push medications based on your comfort level and goals. We value autonomy and teamwork, ensuring that each CRNA feels supported and empowered in their role.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, and pediatric dental.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists to develop and execute individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Provide patient monitoring during procedures, including vital signs, ventilation, and pain management.
• Perform and manage regional anesthesia techniques, including spinal and epidural anesthesia.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of patient care protocols and techniques within the practice.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive daily rate for part-time coverage.
• Work schedule includes Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• No call, no weekends, no holidays.
• Flexible scheduling – approximately 12 to 26+ weeks per year.

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and active state licensure in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience preferred.
• Experience with regional anesthesia techniques is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
