Job Description
Rush University Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its outpatient SurgiCenter in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers a highly desirable ambulatory setting with no call requirements, flexible scheduling, and strong academic involvement.
CRNAs will work under medical direction while also serving as faculty, supporting and supervising student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs). This role is ideal for providers seeking a predictable outpatient environment combined with teaching opportunities at a nationally recognized institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and patient care
- Supervise and mentor SRNAs within the nurse anesthesia program
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $350,000
- Sign-on bonus up to $30,000

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- NBCRNA certification required
- Active Illinois RN or APN license or eligibility
- Current ACLS certification
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Prior experience preferred but not required
