Job Description

Join UW Health, the #1 hospital in Wisconsin, as a Clinical Anesthetist (CRNA) and become part of a nationally recognized academic health system. Work in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Center with access to complex cases and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care under the direction of UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in SRNA and S-AA education and training
  • Perform at multiple clinical sites including University Hospital and Digestive Health Center

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $200,000–$280,000
  • Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 for eligible external hires
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Full-time benefits for positions 60% FTE and above
  • Robust PTO: 40 days annually (vacation, sick, holidays, CME)
  • CME allowance and conference registration support

Job Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Active WI RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA)

Schedule & Work Environment

  • FTE options from 0.75 to 1.0
  • Shift lengths: 8, 10, 12, and 14 hours
  • Holiday, weekend, and night coverage required; pager call may apply
  • Work in diverse OR environments, including trauma, OB/GYN, neuro, plastics, and transplant
