Job Description
Advocate Health is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join the Anesthesiology Team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Schedule
- 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available
- Monday through Friday
- No call or weekend shifts required
Competitive Benefits

Major Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care, including pre-anesthesia evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and post-anesthesia management
- Manage patient conditions using evidence-based care practices and thorough risk/benefit analysis
- Ensure all necessary equipment, supplies, and medications are ready for each anesthetic procedure
- Deliver anesthesia for a wide range of procedures and assist in post-operative pain management in collaboration with the surgical team
- Handle emergency situations, including airway management, administration of emergency medications, and advanced cardiac life support techniques
- Maintain precise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure proper coding and billing practices
License/Registration/Certification Required
- Active RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or equivalent APRN license(s) in the state of practice
- National board certification as a CRNA from the NBCRNA
- Active DEA registration prior to hire
- For Illinois positions: Active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as required by clinical site/practice within 6 months of hire
Education Required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing

- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Adaptability to evolving technology and proficiency in electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Salary and Income Information
- Minimum Annual Salary: $200,000
- Maximum Annual Salary: $320,000
