    Is the CRNA Doctorate Requirement a done deal? Meaning will we be required to have a doctorate by the proposed 2025? I’m assuming current CRNAs will somehow be grandfathered in at their facilities or groups, however, wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this…

    My understanding is that whatever happens, current licensees will be grandfathered in.

    That’s what I was assuming as well. The AANA’s announcement on their website didn’t go into much detail.

    From what I understand, the doctorate requirement is moving forward for new CRNAs by 2025, but current CRNAs will likely be grandfathered in—so focus on staying informed, and don’t stress if you’re already practicing.
