Job Description

Surgical Specialties of Arroyo Grande, a premier private orthopedic and surgical practice on California’s Central Coast, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time or locum position starting mid-to-late November. This opportunity offers excellent work-life balance with no call, no weekends, and no holidays — all in a modern, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, primarily orthopedic cases.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during outpatient and inpatient procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesia colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $280,000–$350,000 (based on experience)
• Full-time or locum options available
• No call, weekends, or holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active California RN and CRNA licenses (or eligibility to obtain)
• NBCRNA certification required
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on orthopedic and outpatient anesthesia preferred
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork abilities
