Job Description

Sandpoint Anesthesia Associates is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our independent practice at Bonner General Health in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. This is a full-time position in a collegial and supportive work environment offering a balanced lifestyle and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including ortho, ortho spine, general surgery, endoscopy, light pediatrics, and occasional cataracts
• Manage acute pain with a full complement of regional nerve blocks and peripheral nerve catheters
• Handle complex ASA 3 and 4 patients confidently
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the surgical team
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the perioperative period

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary between $280,000 and $310,000 based on experience
• $10,000 sign-on bonus (1-year commitment)
• Relocation reimbursement available
• 13 weeks off per year
• 1:4 call schedule with a 1-hour callback requirement

Experience-Based Salary Tiers

• 0–3 years of experience: $280,000
• 3+–7 years of experience: $290,000
• 7+–10 years of experience: $300,000
• 10+ years of experience: $310,000

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification
• Active Idaho RN and APRN licensure
• Experience with regional nerve blocks is a plus (mentoring available)
• Ability to work independently and handle complex cases

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Call is 1:4 with a 1-hour callback requirement
• No obstetrics cases
• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with 4 operating rooms

Sandpoint, Idaho – a picturesque mountain and lake town offering four seasons of outdoor recreation, including skiing at Schweitzer Mountain and water sports on Lake Pend Oreille.
