Job Description

Buffalo Hospital, a community-focused regional medical center within Allina Health, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their respected and collaborative team of 8 CRNAs. Located just northwest of Minneapolis, this practice offers a supportive culture, strong surgical case volume, and a healthy work-life balance through flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across a variety of cases including general surgery, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, and a robust total joint program
• Work in a 1:4 MDA-to-CRNA medical direction practice model
• Take 1:8 call with the ability to flex two half days off around call shifts
• Mentor CRNA students during clinical rotations
• Maintain high standards of safety and patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $300,000–$320,000 plus call stipend, with potential for more through extra call shifts
• Sign-on bonus, training stipend, and relocation assistance
• 32–37 days off annually, plus 10 “Caregiver Benefit” days
• CME stipend and professional support for continued growth

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• NBCRNA certification with current Minnesota licensure (or eligibility)
• Strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Choice of 8- or 10-hour shifts
• 1:8 first call rotation with guaranteed time off after call
• Varied case mix (no cardiac, neurosurgery, or pediatrics)
