Job Description
St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking full-time CRNAs to join a large, collaborative care team in a medically directed model. This role spans multiple high-acuity sites in Duluth, MN, including a new state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center that opened in July 2023.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a medically directed team with 55 CRNAs and 20 Anesthesiologists
- Deliver anesthesia services across five key facilities, including surgical centers and outpatient sites
- First call rotation required (varies by schedule)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $240,000 – $300,000
- $80,000 sign-on bonus
- 12-month student stipend available
- Moving expense reimbursement

Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia
- Current Minnesota CRNA license or eligibility to obtain
- Certified or board-eligible by the NBCRNA (must pass exam within 12 months)
- Current certifications: CPR, BCLS/ACLS
- Successful completion of Essentia Health’s credentialing process
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, W-2 position
- Practice across multiple facilities in Duluth and Superior, WI
- Cases include everything except transplants and pediatric hearts
