Job Description

Join our anesthesia team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist [CRNA] where you demonstrate expert anesthesia administration, medication dosing, and adherence to pain management protocols for our surgical patients. Contribute as part of the anesthesia care team, along with physician anesthesiologists, to develop individualized care plans, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure their safe emergence post-surgery. As a valuable resource and educator to the healthcare team, you will be empowered to drive process improvements, assist in training new staff, and make a meaningful impact on patient-centered care.

Join our Anesthesia Department, boasting 15 innovative operating room suites catering to a wide array of specialties including orthopedic, spine, ear, nose, throat, urology, general surgery, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties including ortho, spine, ENT, urology, and general surgery
• Develop and monitor individualized anesthesia care plans
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and education of new staff
• Ensure safe emergence and recovery of patients post-surgery
• Function as an integral member of a collaborative anesthesia care team

Qualifications

Certification as a CRNA with licensure to practice in the State of South Dakota is required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota required or able to obtain upon hire. Successful CRNAs demonstrate the ability to perform in emergencies, work as part of a collaborative team, and showcase their critical thinking, organization, multi-tasking, and effective communication skills.
