Job Description

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking experienced and motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join the collaborative OB anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California. This full-time position offers top-tier pay, a generous sign-on bonus, and the flexibility of full or part-time scheduling—all while providing clinical autonomy in a respected Dignity Health facility.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for obstetric cases at a busy regional medical center.
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and manage patients throughout the perioperative period.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff in a team-oriented environment.
Participate in emergency and labor epidural management as required.
Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $400,000–$450,000 (approximately $4,000 per shift)
Sign-On Bonus: $40,000 (2-year commitment)
Paid Time Off: 7 weeks
CME Allowance: $3,000 per year

Job Requirements

Current RN and CRNA licensure in California
NBCRNA certification required
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience preferred
Strong clinical decision-making skills and comfort with underserved or high-acuity populations

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time or part-time options available
4 shifts per pay period (approx. 2,500 births annually)
Collaborative, clinician-led OB anesthesia team
Hospital setting within the Dignity Health System (357-bed facility)
