Job Description

Challenge Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a part-time position at Hillsdale Community Hospital in Hillsdale, Michigan. This opportunity offers true independent practice in a collegial small-town hospital environment located within a reasonable drive of Ann Arbor and Jackson.

The facility features three operating rooms, an OB suite, and two procedure bays equipped with modern technology. CRNAs provide anesthesia services across a broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, and obstetrics, with occasional pediatric, neuro, and vascular cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services independently without medical direction
• Manage a variety of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, GI, and OB
• Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia procedures
• Place arterial lines and central lines when required
• Participate in optional call coverage depending on scheduling preferences

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annual compensation range: $190,000 – $260,000

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Michigan state license required
• NBCRNA certification or in the examination process
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• New graduates welcome
