Job Description

Hudson Regional Medical System in Secaucus, New Jersey, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a rapidly growing private practice. The facility has expanded from 5 to 12 operating rooms in just 2.5 years, and additional growth is anticipated with the recent acquisition of three neighboring hospitals. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a range of surgical cases, including General, Orthopedic, ENT, Endoscopy, Spine, and Podiatry procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery.
• Ensure proper patient recovery post-anesthesia and manage any immediate post-operative issues.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
• Active New Jersey state CRNA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Comfort with a wide variety of cases, including General, Ortho, ENT, Endo, Spine, and Podiatry
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Monday – Friday schedule
• 1 Saturday per month required
• Small community hospital with expanding OR capacity
• Rapidly growing surgical volume
