Job Description
Advocate Health is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become part of our Anesthesiology Team at Manitowoc/Two Rivers. This PRN role offers flexible hours and the chance to work in a dynamic, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Schedule
- As-needed (PRN) role
- Monday-Friday shifts
- Minimal on-call duties
Major Responsibilities
- Provide pre-anesthesia assessments, anesthesia administration, and post-anesthesia care, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia, in collaboration with surgical teams.
- Ensure safe and effective patient care using evidence-based practices and clinical judgment.
- Perform preoperative evaluations, including patient examinations, obtaining consent, and reviewing diagnostic tests.
- Prepare anesthesia equipment, medications, and supplies to support safe anesthetic delivery.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety during induction, maintenance, and recovery phases.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing advanced airway management, emergency medications, and life-support techniques.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.

License/Registration/Certification Required
- Valid RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or equivalent advanced practice license in the practicing state(s)
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification from NBCRNA
- DEA registration prior to starting employment
- For Illinois-based roles: Active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (if required by the clinical site) within six months of hire
