Job Description

The University of Colorado Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The selected candidate will provide pediatric anesthesia services primarily at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO), a nationally ranked 600-bed tertiary care facility and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. This position combines clinical practice with teaching responsibilities in a world-class academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric patients in surgical and procedural settings under physician supervision.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations, administer anesthesia, and manage post-anesthesia recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and departmental standards.
• Assist in teaching and mentoring anesthesia students, residents, and fellows as a faculty member of the School of Medicine.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $225,000 – $253,575 annually
• Sign-On Bonus: $30,000 (3-year commitment)
• Relocation Incentive: $10,000

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
• Current certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA
• Active licensure (or eligibility) in the State of Colorado
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia theory and pediatric anesthesia techniques
• Preferred: 1–2 years of pediatric anesthesia or teaching experience
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
