Job Description

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the obstetrics team at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. This opportunity offers highly competitive compensation for 24-hour OB coverage in a supportive, community hospital setting that is part of the respected Dignity Health system.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour obstetric anesthesia coverage
Manage approximately 130 OB cases per month
Participate in call shifts for additional earnings (optional)

Compensation & Benefits

$3,848 per 24-hour shift
4–8 shifts per month
W-2 and 1099 contractor options available
Malpractice insurance provided for W-2 employees

Job Requirements

Active California state CRNA license
NBCRNA certification
Minimum 2 years of OB anesthesia experience

Schedule & Work Environment

Per diem, 24-hour shifts in the OB department
Community hospital setting in Southern Sacramento
Part of Dignity Health, California’s largest hospital provider
