Job Description

Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to lead a newly formed CRNA-only private practice in Winchester, Virginia. This is a full-time leadership position with a focus on building a high-performing anesthesia team within a Level 2 Trauma Center and associated ASC. No call or weekend work required. Supportive practice management structure in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical anesthesia care in a care team model
• Lead and manage a team of 40+ CRNAs
• Collaborate with surgeons, medical staff, and hospital administrators to ensure excellent anesthesia services
• Support scheduling, HR, and practice development with assistance from dedicated management staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary between $290,000 and $320,000 depending on W2 or 1099 status
• Up to $50,000 annual performance bonus
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• 8 weeks of total time off

• Fully paid malpractice insurance

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for or currently hold a Virginia CRNA license
• Strong leadership experience or interest in administrative responsibilities
• Excellent communication and team-building skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• No call or weekend responsibilities
• Options for 10-hour or 12-hour shifts
• Collaborative, CRNA-only private practice supported by administrative infrastructure
