Job Description

We are recruiting a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia team at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule and the opportunity to work within a collaborative hospital-based anesthesia care team.

CRNAs will provide anesthesia services across a broad surgical case mix while working alongside anesthesiologists and experienced operating room staff in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia patient evaluations
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques when appropriate
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and operating room staff

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 hospital-employed position
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No weekend responsibilities
• Optional stroke call coverage at the main hospital
• Care team model working alongside anesthesiologists
• Diverse case mix including ophthalmology, orthopedics, total joints, urology, general surgery, podiatry, vascular procedures, lung procedures, and healthy pediatric cases
• No cardiac, neurosurgery, trauma, or obstetric cases
