Job Description

Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), a 470+ bed teaching facility in Staten Island, New York, is seeking a Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This leadership opportunity offers a highly competitive compensation package, including up to a $100,000 sign-on bonus, and the ability to work with a full range of surgical specialties in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
• Collaborate with patients to discuss anesthetic plans, options, and risks
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients’ physiological status and perform clinical interventions as needed
• Lead and oversee a team of CRNAs while maintaining a collaborative care model

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: ~$275,000 plus $15,000 Chief Stipend

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current New York RN license or eligibility
• AANA certification or recertification
