Job Description

CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its established anesthesia department. This is a hospital-employed W-2 opportunity within a Level III trauma center known for stability, modern resources, and long-tenured CRNA staff. The department operates in a collaborative care-team model with experienced anesthesiologists providing supervision and support.

CRNAs enjoy a structured schedule built around four 10-hour shifts with extended time off, including every other Friday through Monday off. The practice supports a broad yet manageable case mix without transplants, allowing CRNAs to maintain strong clinical skills while preserving work–life balance. New graduates are welcome and supported through mentorship and experienced leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a collaborative hospital-based care team
• Manage cases across general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, urology, GYN, robotics, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, EP, and healthy pediatrics
• Utilize modern anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology
• Deliver safe, patient-centered anesthesia services in accordance with hospital protocols

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $220,000–$300,000 annually
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• $200/hour premium rate for hours worked beyond 40
• Shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends
