Job Description

Join UPMC Mercy Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as a CRNA Clinical Director. Lead a dedicated team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This leadership role involves managing clinical operations, mentoring CRNAs, driving innovation in anesthesia care, and ensuring quality outcomes in a state-of-the-art medical facility. The Clinical Director is accountable for human resources, clinical, financial, and administrative operations to continuously improve patient care and foster a healthy workplace.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:
– Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
– Minimum of five years of clinical experience in nurse anesthesia.
– Supervisory or management experience preferred.
– Master’s degree or higher preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
– Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
– Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
– Board certified, recertified, or eligible by the NBCRNA.
– Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (as required by institution).
– Act 33, 34, and 73 clearances (with renewal).

Skills:
– Strong leadership, organizational, and goal-setting abilities.
– Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
– Proficient with electronic health records and fiscal management.
