Job Description

Deaconess Health System is seeking multiple Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for its anesthesia group due to growth and expansion of services. This is a full-time position with a balanced work-life schedule, providing a wide range of cases and a high level of autonomy in a collaborative care model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including general, ENT, neuro, ortho, vascular, and healthy pediatrics (no OB or hearts)
  • Administer anesthesia independently in ancillary procedures outside the OR
  • Work with the operating physician to provide safe and effective anesthesia care
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the perioperative period

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $260,000 for 126 shifts per year (working 5 of 6 weekends)
  • Annual salary potential exceeding $300,000 with additional weekday shifts
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $50,000 for a 5-year term
  • Up to 8 weeks off annually

Job Requirements

  • Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • Active Indiana RN and APRN licensure
  • Experience in a variety of case types preferred
  • Strong new graduates will be considered

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time position
  • Weekend work: 5 of 6 weekends
  • Flexible scheduling with opportunities for additional weekday shifts
  • Collaborative anesthesia care team model
