Job Description

Rush University Medical Center, a top-tier academic and clinical institution in downtown Chicago, is actively recruiting full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). This opportunity provides a highly flexible schedule, no in-house call, and the chance to serve as clinical faculty precepting SRNAs. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for diverse inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
  • Work under medical direction of anesthesiologists
  • Serve as clinical faculty and preceptor for student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs)

Compensation & Benefits

  • W-2 salary range: $250,000–$350,000
  • Sign-on bonus and SRNA Grant program
  • Illinois Nurse Educator Loan Repayment eligibility: $5,000/year up to 4 years
  • Retirement: 100% match up to 6% + 457(b) additional option
  • 208 hours PTO annually + 7 paid holidays
  • $50,000 fertility benefit lifetime maximum
  • $2,000/year CME + $1,500 every 3 years for licenses/certs + 1 week CME leave
  • Full health, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance
  • Parental and disability leave with 100% salary continuation

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
  • Active IL RN/APN license
  • CPR and ACLS certifications

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time W-2 position
  • Shift options: 8s, 10s, or 12s tailored to your needs
  • No in-house call required; paid pager and call-in rates if applicable
  • Academic medical center with high patient care standards and teaching emphasis
