Job Description

Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time CRNA to join a supportive care team for a 24-hour shift position. CRNAs with OB experience are preferred. This opportunity offers a rewarding practice environment with a broad case mix and excellent support staff, all located within a centralized facility campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed patient consent
• Provide anesthesia care including induction, maintenance, and emergence
• Monitor patient physiological status and perform interventions as necessary
• Participate in a care-team model with collaborative support

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual income: $290,000 (based on 73 24-hour shifts per year)

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current NY RN license (or eligibility)
• Certification or recertification by the AANA Council
• Preferred: OB anesthesia experience

Schedule & Work Environment

• 24-hour shift model (approximately 6 shifts/month or 73 shifts/year)
• Care team model with strong CRNA leadership and anesthesia tech support
• Wide variety of cases: General, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Thoracic, Vascular, Peds (healthy), and more
• Three ASCs and main hospital campus are all centrally located
