Job Description

North Oaks Health System in Hammond, Louisiana, is seeking a PRN Staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. The CRNA will administer anesthetic agents to surgical and/or obstetrical patients during regular schedules and emergency situations. The CRNA must follow North Oaks Health System’s safety policies and procedures at all times.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM days
• Evening/night call
• Weekend coverage included

Job Information and Duties

• Administer anesthesia for surgical and obstetrical patients
• Provide safe and effective care during regular and emergency situations
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Education and Licensure

• Graduate of a hospital-affiliated school of anesthesia approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists/NBCRNA
• Maintain Louisiana State Nursing Licensure
• Must be credentialed and approved for privileges through established Medical Staff Committees
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications and maintain them

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience is strongly considered during the selection process
