Novant Health is seeking a CRNA to grow and develop within a professional setting. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Level II provides professional, competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients, from pediatric up to geriatric population, requiring surgical, obstetrical, and other anesthesia services. In addition, the CRNA Level II utilizes skills obtained through additional training, education and/or experience in the provision of anesthesia care to patients who present with complex and unique anesthetic requirements.

Works primarily in Community Medical Centers and provides needed coverage to other Community Medical Centers, ASCs, HOPDs, and Tertiary Medical Center with Multispecialty Trauma Services & multiple NORA (Non-operating room anesthesia) sites as directed by NH Anesthesia Leadership.

Job Qualifications

BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or graduate diploma level certification required. Graduate from both an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA.

Previous experience is not necessary. Four to six week orientation period (working with preceptor) is required. Orientation period will depend on previous experience and clinical skills.

Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
Current CRNA endorsement in appropriate state, required.
NBCRNA certification, required.
ACLS certification within NH policy, required.
BLS certification within NH policy, required.
PALS certification within NH policy, required.

Annual Estimated Salary or Payment

Competitive Pay. Sign-on bonus available up to $45,000 and Relocation up to $7,500.
