Job Description

Rush University Medical Center in downtown Chicago is hiring CRNAs for its top-ranked ambulatory surgery center. This full-time, W-2 role at Rush SurgiCenter offers a flexible weekday schedule with no call, highly competitive compensation, and extensive academic and professional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a broad range of outpatient surgical cases at Rush SurgiCenter
• Ensure safe pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia care
• Precept and mentor SRNAs as a faculty member
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and interdisciplinary surgical teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $250,000 – $350,000
• Sign-on bonus available
• SRNA Grant (pre-start education stipend) and up to $5,000/year loan forgiveness
• 403(b) with 50% match up to 6% + 457(b) plan
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
• 208 hours PTO + 7 paid holidays (available from day one)
• $50,000 lifetime fertility benefit
• $2,000/year CME + $1,500 every 3 years for licenses/certifications
• Rush pension plan after 1 year

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Current Illinois RN and APRN licensure
• ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
• DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance license
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
• CRNA experience preferred; new grads welcome

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shifts available: 8s and 10s (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
• Outpatient setting — no call, no waterfall tear-off schedule
• Supportive team culture with on-time shift relief
• Located on the Rush Medical Center campus in downtown Chicago
