Job Description

Eagle Physicians & Associates in Greensboro NC, has part-time openings and is looking to directly hire talented CRNAs to join our team-oriented Endoscopy Ambulatory Surgical Center. This is a permanent position, not a Locum Tenens role.

Schedule: 3 days weekly, occasional M-F. NO ON-CALL! NO NIGHTS! NO WEEKENDS!

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Frequent walking, sitting, bending and standing required for extended periods of time. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires visual acuity and normal color perception.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Perform Preanesthesia assessment.

Request appropriate laboratory/diagnostic studies based on the clinical needs of the patient.

Administering Preanesthetic medication and using medically appropriate sedation techniques.

Skilled in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation management and Airway management techniques.

Knowledgeable in Noninvasive monitoring.

Demonstrates knowledge in Mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy.

Demonstrates knowledge of Fluid, electrolyte, acid-base management.

Demonstrates awareness of patient & visitor fears and apprehensions.

Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

Shows respect, courtesy and advocacy in all dealings with all people, including, but not limited to patients, coworkers, and visitors.

Displays a positive attitude, and team-oriented spirit, indicated by a willingness to assist where and whenever needed.

Attends meetings as required.

Writes legibly and with correct grammar and sentence structure.

Follows HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and maintains security of Protected Health Information (PHI) and business information.

Does not exhibit, divulge, copy or remove the contents of any record or report except to fulfill work assignments.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge in the administration of anesthesia. Skilled in performing preanesthesia assessment and ordering the appropriate labs/diagnostic testing. Knowledgeable in airway management. Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with staff. Skill in making mathematical computations utilizing standard formula. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions. Ability to follow written protocols. Ability to communicate clearly.

Education: Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor

Experience: Prior experience required

Certificate/License: Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of NC, currently certified by the Council on Certification of Nurses Anesthetists.Â
BLS and ACLS
