Job Description

The University of Colorado School of Medicine, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its faculty at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a nationally ranked hospital while also contributing to education and research as part of the University’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care for pediatric surgical and medical procedures under the supervision of attending anesthesiologists
Provide anesthesia services across ORs, procedure centers, radiology, and special procedure areas
Document anesthesia care and patient progress according to established guidelines
Participate in pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient management
Contribute to teaching and education within the Department of Anesthesiology and School of Medicine

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $225,000 – $253,575 annually (based on experience, education, and specialty)
401(a) Retirement Plan with 10% employer contribution

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
NBCRNA certification
Active or eligible Colorado APRN
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
Teaching or academic involvement desirable

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, onsite at Children’s Hospital Colorado (Aurora, CO)
Flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
No overnight shifts beyond 11 PM (covered by physicians)
FIRST and SECOND call details vary
Academic hospital environment with strong emphasis on teaching and research
