Job Description

Denver Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its collaborative anesthesia team in the heart of Denver, Colorado. This full-time position focuses exclusively on obstetric anesthesia, providing CRNAs the opportunity to work autonomously while maintaining access to physician consultation and support when needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
  • Provide anesthesia care for obstetric-related procedures, including cesarean sections, epidurals, tubal ligations, and dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures.
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia autonomously, ensuring patient safety throughout all perioperative phases.
  • Perform post-anesthesia care and manage patient recovery, ensuring safe transfer and thorough communication with the receiving team.
  • Participate in the education and supervision of Resident Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs).
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, meetings, and patient care improvements.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $210,000–$240,000 (W-2 employee position)

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
  • Current Colorado RN license and CRNA certification
  • BLS certification (AHA required)
  • 1–3 years of relevant CRNA experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetric anesthesia and airway management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
