Job Description

The Eye Surgery Center of Wisconsin in Oak Creek is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for PRN or full-time 1099 opportunities. This role offers a highly flexible schedule, allowing providers to work as much or as little as desired in a low-acuity outpatient environment.

CRNAs will work independently in a CRNA-only model, providing anesthesia primarily for cataract procedures and light MAC cases. This position is ideal for providers seeking a predictable schedule, minimal stress, and autonomy in a respected surgical center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cataract and ophthalmologic procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
• Administer MAC anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all cases
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation using paper charting systems

Compensation & Benefits

• $200 per hour with guaranteed minimum hours
• Guaranteed 8 hours for full-day shifts and 5 hours for half-day shifts
• Daily earnings ranging from $1,000 to $1,600
• 1099 independent contractor structure
• Flexible scheduling with ability to choose workload

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Wisconsin state license required
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current ACLS certification
• New graduates and experienced CRNAs welcome

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN or full-time 1099 position
• Operating room start time at 7:30 AM, typically finished by 3:30 PM
• No call, nights, weekends, or holiday requirements
• Independent CRNA-only practice model
• Outpatient surgery center setting
• Case mix includes primarily cataracts with some oculoplastics and occasional general cases
• Supportive staff with efficient workflow and full anesthesia setup
