Job Description
Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a 583-bed teaching hospital and flagship academic site for Northwell Health, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia team. Affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, this position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity tertiary and quaternary care environment.
CRNAs are core anesthesia providers and clinical leaders across adult, obstetric, pediatric, and ambulatory settings within a collaborative MD–CRNA model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthetic care across adult, OB, pediatric, and ambulatory environments
- Support a diverse case mix including minimally invasive robotic surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, and vascular surgery
- Practice at multiple clinical sites including:
- Long Island Jewish Medical Center
- Katz Women’s Hospital
- Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center
- Center for Advanced Medicine
- Participate in academic and teaching opportunities with residents, SRNAs, and medical students
