Job Description
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the obstetrics team at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. This opportunity offers highly competitive compensation for 24-hour OB coverage in a supportive, community hospital setting that is part of the respected Dignity Health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour obstetric anesthesia coverage
- Manage approximately 130 OB cases per month
- Participate in call shifts for additional earnings (optional)
Compensation & Benefits
- $3,848 per 24-hour shift
- 4–8 shifts per month
- W-2 and 1099 contractor options available
- Malpractice insurance provided for W-2 employees
Job Requirements
- Active California state CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Minimum 2 years of OB anesthesia experience
Schedule & Work Environment
- Per diem, 24-hour shifts in the OB department
- Community hospital setting in Southern Sacramento
- Part of Dignity Health, California’s largest hospital provider
