Job Description
Sedaze Anesthesia Consultants is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services at Newark Pain Surgery Center in Newark, California. This PRN independent contractor role offers a simple outpatient case mix focused entirely on MAC anesthesia for pain procedures in a relaxed and efficient surgery center environment.
The center averages 4–5 hour workdays, providing strong hourly compensation with early finishes and excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide MAC anesthesia for outpatient pain procedures
- Work independently in a CRNA-only practice environment
- Manage routine sedation for pain interventions
- Collaborate with surgical staff to maintain efficient case flow
Compensation & Benefits
- $200 per hour
- $1,200 minimum daily guarantee
- Typical daily pay range: $1,200 – $2,000
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Weekday schedule with no call and no weekends
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- NBCRNA certification required
- Active California RN and CRNA license required prior to start
- Current ACLS certification
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience with MAC anesthesia preferred but not required
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN 1099 contractor role
- Average workday of approximately 4–5 hours
- Weekday schedule only
- No call, no nights, and no weekends
- CRNA-only independent practice model
