Job Description
A Los Angeles outpatient surgery center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a PRN opportunity providing anesthesia services for gastrointestinal procedures. This CRNA-only practice allows providers to work independently while delivering monitored anesthesia care in a high-volume ambulatory surgical environment.
The position focuses on MAC anesthesia for GI procedures and related cases, offering a predictable work environment without call responsibilities or weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide monitored anesthesia care for gastrointestinal procedures
- Perform pre-procedure anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations
- Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Manage airway support and maintain patient stability
- Provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery care
- Collaborate with procedural staff to maintain efficient case flow
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily compensation ranging from $1,600 to $1,800
- 1099 independent contractor structure
- Flexible PRN scheduling
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active California license required
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Ability to function independently in an outpatient surgical setting
- New graduates considered if meeting credentialing requirements
