Job Description

UC Irvine Health is seeking multiple Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) and Senior CRNAs for full-time opportunities at its facility in Orange, California. CRNAs will perform safe anesthesia care under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, including pre-operative assessment, administration of anesthesia, patient monitoring, and post-operative care. This role includes opportunities for advanced procedures and educational or supervisory responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
– Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
– Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
– Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
– Valid California Registered Nurse license and California Nurse Anesthetist license.
– Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Skills and Abilities:
– Expertise in pre-operative assessments, including identification of pre-existing conditions and drug interactions.
– Proficiency in performing and documenting monitored, regional, and general anesthesia for patients of all ages.
– Ability to manage airway complications and perform intubations safely.
– Knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and emergency response during anesthesia procedures.
– Experience supervising student anesthetists and participating in educational tasks.

Annual Estimated Salary or Payment

$240,000–$330,000 annually.
