Job Description

This full-time CRNA role at Wickenburg Community Hospital offers an independent, community-based practice environment focused on low-to-moderate acuity surgeries. The position provides a predictable schedule, no call requirements, and a strong emphasis on bread-and-butter anesthesia care. As a Primary Team CRNA, you will support both inpatient and outpatient procedures in a modern surgical suite with two operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, and similar low-acuity cases.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with surgeons and OR staff.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and manage perioperative anesthesia care.
• Utilize peripheral nerve block skills; training available for candidates looking to expand competencies.
• Support patient safety, documentation accuracy, and efficient OR workflow.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation: $390,000–$400,000 (based on $200/hour with 32–40 hour weekly agreements)
• Travel stipend for commutes exceeding one hour
• Weekly schedule options: 4-day (32 hr) or 5-day (40 hr) guarantees
• No call and a stable Monday–Friday environment
• Independent contractor (1099) structure

Job Requirements

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licensure in Arizona
• Prior surgical or perioperative anesthesia experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and make rapid clinical decisions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Comfort with PNBs or willingness to be trained

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time independent practice as a primary team CRNA
• Two-OR hospital with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
• No call, no weekends, predictable schedule
• Optional opportunities at additional facilities if mutually desired
