Job Description

Join a collaborative anesthesia care team at a respected Level III trauma center in Santa Fe, NM. This full-time CRNA role offers a strong blend of autonomy, case variety, and lifestyle balance in one of the most desirable locations in the Mountain West. New graduates and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care within a supervised care team model with significant autonomy
  • Manage a diverse case mix including trauma, ortho, GI, and general surgery
  • Participate in light call rotation (24-hour, weekend shifts compensated above base)
  • Collaborate with colleagues in state-of-the-art ORs using Epic EMR

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary: $265,000+
  • Flat rate pay for call shifts in addition to base
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • $30,000 retention bonuses for each two-year commitment beyond year one
  • $5,000 annual CME/licensure allowance
  • Approx. 6 weeks PTO plus holidays and CME time
  • Relocation package including $10k moving allowance
  • Student loan forgiveness eligibility
  • Fully paid malpractice insurance
  • Comprehensive health benefits and 4.25% employer retirement contribution

Job Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • NBCRNA certification
  • BLS & ACLS required
  • One year of CRNA experience preferred, new graduates considered

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Shift-based scheduling with flexible coverage
  • No cardiac, sick pediatrics, or transplant cases
  • Level III trauma center with advanced facilities
  • FIRST and SECOND call frequency varies; day off after call is standard
