Job Description
Sanford Health is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a collaborative anesthesia team in Bemidji, Minnesota. This full-time W-2 opportunity offers a highly autonomous practice environment with minimal medical direction and a strong compensation package. Cases are primarily bread-and-butter procedures with some pediatric cases and cardiac ablations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties
- Perform arterial line placement, epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Provide anesthesia for obstetric, orthopedic, outpatient, and pediatric procedures
- Participate in collaborative anesthesia care with minimal anesthesiologist direction
- Manage preoperative screening and acute pain service responsibilities
- Administer induction agents independently
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting compensation beginning at $269,489
- $75,000 incentive loan over three years
- $30,000 sign-on bonus

Job Requirements
- Current NBCRNA certification required
- Minnesota CRNA license required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- No fellowship training required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time W-2 employment
- Collaborative practice model with approximately 1% medical direction
- Team includes 11 CRNAs and 1 anesthesiologist
- Primarily bread-and-butter anesthesia cases
- OB, orthopedic, outpatient surgery, and regional anesthesia cases performed regularly
- Some pediatric and cardiac ablation cases included
