Job Description

St. Joseph Healthcare in Bangor, Maine is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support its six operating rooms and three endoscopy rooms. This is a “bread & butter” practice—no OB, trauma, or cardiothoracic cases—with a supportive and collegial team focused on quality patient care. New graduates and 1099 candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for orthopedic, general surgery, neurology, plastics, gynecology, and podiatry cases
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative experience
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $265,000+
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or after-hours call

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), NBCRNA certified
• Eligible for or holding Maine CRNA licensure
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-first attitude

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday through Friday schedule
• No call, nights, weekends, or holidays
• Average case mix: 40% orthopedic, 30% general, 30% neuro/plastics/gyn/podiatry
