Job Description
Eye SurgiCenter LLC in Sebring, Florida is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN position in an ophthalmology-focused ambulatory surgery center. This role offers a fully independent practice environment with consistent weekday scheduling needs.
CRNAs will provide anesthesia care primarily for eye procedures, working autonomously in a CRNA-only model. This opportunity is ideal for experienced providers seeking independence, strong daily compensation, and a focused outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for ophthalmologic surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and stability
- Manage airway and anesthesia delivery as needed
- Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams and oversee pre-operative processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,600 per day with guaranteed 8-hour minimum
- 1099 independent contractor structure
- Malpractice coverage provided (occurrence-based $1M / $3M)

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida state license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- Minimum two years of independent CRNA experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Eye block experience preferred but training available
- Strong skills in patient monitoring and airway management
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN 1099 position
- Regular availability required Monday, Tuesday, and occasional Wednesday
- No call, nights, weekends, or holiday requirements
- Independent CRNA-only practice model
