Job Description

University of Florida Health in collaboration with Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This UF Regional Physician and CRNA-based practice covers a Level II trauma center, a surgery center, and a smaller non-overnight call hospital. The practice offers a collaborative environment with a broad scope of procedures and a highly competitive benefits package.

Schedule

  • Self-schedule up to 80% of your shifts
  • Weekend backup call coverage split evenly among W-2 CRNAs (approximately 3 weekend calls per year)
  • Additional call coverage during high-volume trauma weeks (Bikefest and Octoberfest)

Job Information and Duties

  • Provide supervised anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including Neurosurgery, Interventional Stroke Care, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Colorectal, Ophthalmology, General Surgery (including Bariatric Surgery), Routine Outpatient Pediatrics (over two years), Gynecology, and low to moderate volume Obstetrics
  • Work with a Level 3 NICU for obstetric cases
  • Cardiac Anesthesia covered by CV-trained anesthesiologists and CRNAs with strong clinical skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $210,000 – $220,000 annually
  • $70,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment
  • Overtime and additional shift payments paid biweekly
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
  • Approximately 8.75 weeks of vacation and holiday accrual annually (accruals do not expire)
  • 8 weeks of paid family leave available upon hire
  • 5 CME days and a $2,000 professional development allowance
