Job Description

Join Abbott Northwestern Hospital – Allina Health System in Minnesota as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Key Responsibilities

Anesthesia Care:

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessment and patient evaluation
• Administer anesthetic techniques, including general, regional, local, or sedation
• Manage airway and cardiopulmonary status
• Facilitate patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia
• Provide pain-related consultations and services

Peri-Anesthetic and Clinical Support:

• Provide clinical support to other patient care areas
• Insert peripheral and arterial catheters
• Perform arterial punctures for blood samples
• Participate in or initiate CPR and ventilator care

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with department teams to achieve desired outcomes
• Mentor students and new team members
• Help identify and initiate process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program
• Licensed Registered Nurse (MN Board of Nursing)
• Registered Nurse Anesthetist (MN Board of Nursing)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Compensation

• Annual salary: $260,000 – $280,000
