Job Description
Lincoln Healthcare is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide IV sedation anesthesia for an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Pensacola, Florida. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a supportive outpatient surgical environment.
CRNAs will work independently providing anesthesia for dental surgery cases in a fully equipped surgical office. The practice typically handles a low daily volume of procedures, allowing providers to focus on safe and efficient patient care in a structured clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IV sedation anesthesia for oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Manage airway and sedation levels during dental surgeries
- Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring
- Collaborate with oral surgeons and surgical staff during procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $175 – $210 hourly compensation
- 6-hour minimum pay guarantee
- 1099 independent contractor arrangement
- Flexible per diem scheduling with self-scheduling options
- No call responsibilities
- No weekend coverage required
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year of IV sedation anesthesia experience
- Strong airway management skills
- Experience with propofol sedation preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- Per diem 1099 position
- Monday through Thursday surgical schedule
- Typical workday 6–8 hours
- Approximately 2–3 cases per day
- Office-based anesthesia for dental surgery
- Independent practice with surgical assistant support
