Program Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
Current, encumbered Pennsylvania professional nursing license.
1 year of recent experience in critical care nursing. Acceptable critical care experience includes: ICU (Intensive Care Unit), CCU (Coronary Care Unit), Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU
Undergraduate quality point average (QPA) of at least 3.0. QPA measures your level of achievement, not just your grade. In this system, Honors and AP classes are worth more than regular classes.
Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Course Prerequisites: Statistics, Chemistry, Research, and Health Assessment.
Shadow a CRNA for a minimum of 8 hours.
