Job Description
Sanford Health in Bemidji, Minnesota is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a collaborative anesthesia practice. This role offers a high level of autonomy with minimal medical direction while working alongside a supportive anesthesia team.
The practice primarily handles bread-and-butter anesthesia cases with some pediatric procedures and occasional cardiac ablations. Providers work in a team-focused environment that emphasizes strong clinical collaboration and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Provide intraoperative and post-anesthesia care
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques including spinals and epidurals
- Insert arterial lines and assist with central line placement when needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary for new graduates: $269,489+
- $30,000 sign-on bonus
- $75,000 incentive loan over three years

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- NBCRNA certification required
- Active Minnesota RN and CRNA licensure
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- New graduates welcome
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time W-2 hospital-employed position
- Collaborative anesthesia practice with approximately 1% medical direction
- Team includes 11 CRNAs and 1 anesthesiologist
- Case mix includes OB, pediatrics, orthopedics, outpatient surgery, and regional anesthesia
